Portrait plaque depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). An embossed gilt metal, relief portrait of Nelson, facing left. He is shown head and shoulders length in uniform, with the shoulders draped, inscribed in gilt letters: 'ADMIRAL LORD NELSON'. The plaque is mounted on a blue velvet background, with crossed olive branches below, within a circular gilt border. The plaque has a black rectangular frame with a suspension ring.
