Tray
Rectangular tray with rounded corners and with a gilded border. Painted in the centre is a naval battle scene between French and British vessels. There is a British ship in the right foreground with her sails out and explosions from the cannons on her side. The ship on the left hand side is French and is depicted with the stern towards the viewer. On the right hand side is a vessel, possibly French, with her mast at an odd angle, possibly suggesting it is broken.
