Electroplated coffee pot
Electroplated coffee pot used on board Blue Funnel line ships.
Goblet-shaped jug on a plain circular foot with a slightly curved spout and shaped handle. The lid, which is hinged below a collar, has a conical knop. The house flag of Alfred Holt Company Ltd (Blue Funnel Line) is engraved on one side (AH conjoined on a white diamond set in a 'blue' shaded field). It is stamped with the registered design number 25826 (dating the design to 1895).
There is a matching hot milk jug in the NMM (PLT0464).
