Bowl: Union Castle Line
A silver plate bowl that was part of the first class setting on Union Castle Line ships. It consists of a circular bowl with a single handle on a stepped base. There is a zigzag band engraved around the rim. The company crest is engraved on the side. Inscribed on the base are the words: "MAPPIN & WEBB, LONDON AND SHEFFIELD, G, CI/63".
