Hair belonging to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). Stored with the object, are a letter dated Nov'r 19th and a note from the donor. Formerly owned by novelist Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832) who gave it to his daughter's music tutor
