A view across the archaeological sites towards the coast of Yttygran Island
A view of the landscape with covered archaeological features in the middle-distance on the Island of Yttygran. The coastline can be seen stretching away in the distance. This was the first island visited by the ice breaker Kapitan Dranitsyn (1980) and Ivy Sharp records that they arrived at about 0700. The weather was foggy, which turned to drizzle and then rain. They left at about 1120 as the weather deteriorated.
