An out-of-focus view of some Dwarf Fireweed (Chamerion latifolium (L.) Holub (Onagraceae)) found on Yttygran Island . This was the first island visited by the ice breaker Kapitan Dranitsyn (1980) and Ivy Sharp records that they arrived at about 0700. The weather was foggy, which turned to drizzle and then rain. They left at about 1120 as the weather deteriorated.
