Nut and bolt from the wreck of 'Royal George'
A nut and bolt retrieved from the wreck site of the ship of the line 'Royal George', which sank at Spithead in 1782. A label attached to the bolt reads 'PIECE OF BOLT AND METAL NUT'. The nut and bolt are made of iron and are both severely degraded.
