H.M.S. 'Thetis' copper sheathing
Copper bolt from HMS 'Thetis' 1817 lost off Cape Frio 5th December 1830 with 800,000 dollars on board. The fittings were recovered from the bottom of Thetis Cove now known as Saco dos Ingléses in May 1962 by Messrs M.H. Cavalcanti de Lacerda. Piedro Correa de Araujo and Luis Marden.
