H.M.S. 'Victory' block sheaves
Two block sheaves in lignum vitae with brass coaks in the centre that were used aboard H.M.S. 'Victory'. Broad arrows are inscribed on the wood (two one side, one the other) and on each coak (two cast into each side). Inscribed: 'APT 1809'. From HMS 'Victory' 1765.
