Rectangular piece of canvas with a painted inscription and a hole in the centre. Inscription: 'Shot Hole. Cut from "Victory's" Mail Topsail as returned into Store at Chatham after the Battle of Trafalgar fought 21st October 1805. Canvas Made by Baxter Dundee'.
