H.M.S. 'Lion' inkstand

A teak inkstand made from the timber of the battlecruiser HMS 'Lion' in the shape of a capstan. It has a hinged lid. Brass plate on base inscribed: ' H.M.S. LION HELIGOLAND . DOGGER BANK 1914 . JUTLAND . 1918'
