A turned oak box with a lid. Under domed glass in the centre of the lid, a cameo profile of Nelson in white vitreous paste. A circular gold plate inside the lid is inscribed: 'H.B.M.S. VICTORY Trafalgar 21 Oct'r. 1805.'
