Wooden yoke
A yoke made of a single piece of wood sculpted to fit the shoulders and the neck. There are indentations and iron staples at the ends to take ropes or chains to attach to pails. It was used by Greenwich Hospital pensioners to carry beer and water to the Hospital. Inscribed: 'S' on the upper side, 'M & G' twice on the lower side.
