A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the destroyer HMS Milne (1914) under way in the North Sea with the Harwich Force. Her Pendant '8A' can be seen on the bow below the level of the 3-inch gun. The photograph was taken from the light cruiser HMS Aurora (1913).

HMS Aurora (1913) was at sea on patrol from the evening of 24 March to 28 March and again for the night of 30-31 March. [Ship's log, TNA, ADM 53/34496]
