Neustadt, seal of the town, 13th century. It shown a double ended ship with a rudder on the starboard side and the nettle leaf badge of the ancient counts of Schauenburg. Inscription: 'SIGILLVM BVRGENSIVM DE NOVA CREMPA'. The cast is mounted on an emulsioned plywood backboard with a label.
