Bristol, seal for admiralty and maritime affairs, 15th century or 16th century. It depicts a fifteenth or sixteenth century sailing vessel, the royal arms on the sail and Royal Standard in the stern; the flag of St George in the bow of the vessel. The cast is mounted on an emulsioned plywood backboard with a label.
