A 'Jacob's ladder' leads to the fighting top. A shield of arms of the Barons of the Cinque Ports as shown on the sail. Inscription 'SIGILLUM :: COMUNE :: VILLE :: ET :: HUNDREDE :: DE :: TENTERDEN'.
