Obverse: Female figure with 'VICTORIA' on the lower edge of her mantle, crowning with a wreath a kneeling man. Legend: 'VIRTUTE PARATUM'. Reverse: A wreath of eucalyptus and laurel. Legend: 'VICTORIAN HUMANE SOCIETY'. Below: 'INSTD AD 1874' Inscription within the wreath: 'AWARDED TO'.
