Framed list of captains for H.M.S. 'Ganges' 1782-1904
A framed and glazed list of captains. It depicts a list of the names of the Captains whom served aboard H.M.S. ‘Ganges’ from the years 1782-1904. From 1866-1904 ‘Ganges’ was made a training ship for Boys and a Commander took over control of the ship instead of a Captain. There is a blue coloured crown at the top of the list and a thin blue rope border around the edge of the list.
