Two casts obverse and reverse of an inscribed commemorative medal. Obverse: Port-broadside view of a brig-rigged East Indiaman. Border: 'Generaele : Vereenichede : Oost Indishe : Compagny.' Reverse: East India Company's fleet. Legend: 'Int vreede Jaer, belant dees vloot door Wollebrant van Oost Indiis rycke Cust int Lieve Vaderlant*'. (In the year of peace the fleet is brought home to the motherland by Wollebrant from the rich coasts of the East Indies).
