Menu from the Gun Room Mess of H.M.S. 'Vanguard'

A menu used in the Gun Room Mess of the ship H.M.S 'Vanguard'. The menu is framed with perspex on both sides. Lord Nelson's coat of arms are present on both sides of the frame and the words 'VANGUARD' written at the top. One side of the menu is coloured in watercolour and the names of the dishes have been deleted. Inscribed on the menu are the words "MENU GUN ROOM MESS H.M.S. 'VANGUARD', LORD NELSON'S FLAGSHIP AT THE NILE. FRONT GUN ROOM'S MESS 1ST COURSE". Writtn on the back are the words "GUN ROOM MESS 2ND COURSE". The paper the menu is written on is yellowing.
