Reverse: A cruiser sinking and two more approaching. Exergue: 'DIE VERNICHTUNG . DER . ENGLISCHEN . PANZERKREUZER . ABOUKIR . HOGUE . CRESSY . DURCH . U . 9.' (Capt. Weddigen and the sinking of the cruisers 'Aboukir', 'Hogue' and 'Cressy' by 'U.9'). Inscription (right): '22 SEPT. 1914.'
