In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

It appears by a Certificate from Lord Berkeley, Colonel of the Second Marine Regiment, that Humphrey Stokes, Sergeant, and Henry Kitt, Sentinel, belonging to his Company now at Greenwich, were employed on shore from the 1st April 1694 to the 24th October following in raising Recruits for the Company (being discharged from the Britannia).
Direct you to allow them Wages on shore for that time notwithstanding they did not appear at the Musters of the Company while employed in this service.
