Launching casket
Launching casket for the HMS 'Espoir' 1860. The casket is made of walnut with a silver plate on the lid, the interior is lined with blue plush. Inscribed on the plate on the lid: 'Espoir 5 guns'. The dimensions of the vessel are listed inside the lid beneath a picture of the ship.
