Fling(1858); Cargo vessel; Schooner
Scale:Unknown. A contemporary Half frame model of the schooner Fling(1858). The whole model is constructed from wood, left in its natural state, and comprises of a single shaped backboard, to which twenty six separate sectional bulkheads or frames are attached and held in position by four ribbands. Other features include a plain beakhead fitted with a stempost and chock, keel and stern post. The overhanging counter stern is complete with wing transom timbers fitted to a chock and a solid deadwood where the keel meets the sternpost.
