A distant starboard view of an unidentified passenger/cargo ship, down by the bow, having struck a mine. A small tug is approaching off the liner's starboard bow. A tow line is attached to the stern and to a tug out of the picture. Same ship in N22713.
The photograph was taken from the deck of the light cruiser HMS Aurora (1913).
