Aberdare; Quddra; James (1950); Cargo vessel
Scale: 1:24. A model of the starboard side of Aberdare Quddra James (1954), a river and coastal cargo vessel made entirely in wood and varnished. The hull is marked to show the hull plates, decks, and other features. The deck is completely flat and devoid of detail. The hull shape is wide, straight sided, flat bottomed, and the stern terminates in a narrow point. The model is displayed on a plywood backboard.
