Lifeboat carriage
Model of a horse-drawn lifeboat carriage, which is possibly incomplete. It depicts suspension, iron-bound wooden wheels, adjustable lifeboat cradle on turntable swivel mechanism, equipment box with openable weather-proofed lid, and provision for harnessing a single horse. The model has a number of moving parts. It has been made mainly in unpainted wood with metal details and fittings, with a material cover to the equipment box.
