Porter's anchor
Scale: Unknown. A model of a Porter's patent anchor (1842). The model is made entirely in steel or iron. The stock can be removed by removing the securing wedge. The ring is riveted to the top of the shank and can be pivoted. The shank is rectangular in section. The flukes pivot on a securing pin which passes through the bottom of the shank and the crown. The flukes have hook protrusions.
