Equipment model; Anchor model

Scale: Unknown. A model of John Eynon's wrought iron anchor, sanctioned in 1920. The model is made entirely in aluminium alloy which is patinated a dark grey colour. The shank is square in section with rounded corners and at the top there is a 'D' ring that pivots on a round headed rivet. The bottom of the shank swivels within a rectangular aperture in the crown which is wide in section. The two swivelling pins are held in place by a pair of clamps that are each secured to the flat bottom of the crown by a pair of nuts (one nut currently missing). The arms are short and straight sided and terminate in a pair of elongated flukes that point vertically upwards.
