White Ensign
A British naval ensign worn by Bangor class minesweeper HMS 'Shippigan' 1941, prior to and during the Normandy Landings of June 1944. She was leader of the 16th Minesweeper Flotilla. The ensign is made of printed wool bunting, machine-hemmed. It has a rope attached and eyelets in the hoist.
