HMS Eagle (1804); Warship; 50 guns; Frigate
Scale: 1:48. A model of the stern of HMS Eagle (1804) made entirely in wood with applied paper detail and painted in realistic colours. The model shows two different sterns - the port side depicts the square plan of construction and the starboard side shows the circular stern as constructed. The hull is painted black with a broad ochre stripe running along the gun deck. The section face and deck are painted cream. The port stern windows have been painted onto paper and applied to the model.
