Component model; Keel model

Scale: Unknown. A model depicting the mode of forming and connecting a keel, stem, apron, deadwood, stemson and keelson. The model has been made entirely in wood, and stained and varnished a mid brown colour. The various components have been shown in position by the model being scored on its surface and marks highlighted in black. At the base of the model a metal pin has been inserted, indicating that it was once mounted to a baseboard, but this is now missing. On the stem "D3" has been stamped. On the starboard side of the model a number of hand annotated paper labels have been applied indicating the parts of the model, and a paper label has been applied marked "21".
