British Diver(1984); Service vessel; Lifeboat; Atlantic 21 class(B-560); Trailer
Scale: 1:12. Model of an Atlantic 21 lifeboat trailer, circa 1985. Built from both metal and plastic, the trailer is complete with simulated inflated rubber tyres and two water tanks at the rear to enable the engines to run prior to launching. This model is part of a larger scenic model illustrating the launch of the lifeboat British Diver, stationed at Whitstable in Kent in 1985 (see also SLR1756 and SLR2529).
