Naval telescope
This achromatic telescope has a tapering wooden barrel and brass fittings that include a single draw tube, a sliding eyepiece cover and an objective lens cap. The maker's name is inscribed on the draw tube as 'Dollond London'. The telescope is said to have been given by Lord Nelson to his godson Horatio Nelson Atkinson.
