Embroidery worked in wool on yellow silk. Depicts Britannia mourning at a monument surmounted by a bust of Nelson. Fame sits on the memorial steps writing 'The battle of Trafalgar' in a book, Victory crowns the bust. The memorial is inscribed 'SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF LORD VISCOUNT NELSON'. The embroidery is nailed onto a wooden frame.
