Collar
White gauze "shawl" collar heavily and ornately embroidered with gold wire. Flower and scroll design in pink, blue, yellow and green silks. Scalloped gold lace edge. Turkish, made for export in the late 19th century, with dubious provenance associating the item with Sir Francis Drake (circa 1540-1596).
