Trinity House uniform: pattern 1831
These trousers were part of a uniform belonging to Admiral Thomas Cochrane, the 10th Earl of Dundonald, who was an Elder Brother of Trinity House. The Brethren of Trinity House had to wear a distinctive uniform while on duty at the Corporation's headquarters at Tower Hill.
