Dry card compass
Bowl: Brass bound in leather. White on inside with black lubber line. Has two spirit levels on bottom of bowl. Has three adjuster screws on outside and a card lift mechanism on outside which operates by lifter ring around pivot.
Card: White metal ring graduated to 360 deg. Diameter of card 7.5" (19.2 cm)
Needle: Two bar needles slung beneath card by brass framework. Has brass weights.
Pivot: Brass pivot in brass mount.
