Liquid compass
Bowl: Grey painted brass, filler plug on side. Brass verge ring, graduated to 360 degrees anti-clockwise. Fitted with two lubber pointers, one marked "H" the other "O" and four other pointers which move independently of each other, said to be for course setting. Mounted by three lugs (one at each side the other at base) fitted with springs and felt pads to damp out vibrations, to a vertical bracket for securing compass to dashboard.
Card: Mica (?) All paint has flaked off, there remains a framework with a pivot cup at centre.
Needle: Unsighted
Pivot: Inverted type. Unsighted.
