Liquid compass
Bowl: Aluminium painted black. glazed. White inside with black lubber spike. Fill hole on side. Two screws on either side for carrying strap. Has wooden handle at base.
Card: Air Ministry card, white with black markings graduated 0 to 360 dgrees and four cardinal points. Open at centre with eight spokes. Pivot spike at centre. Diameter 2".
Needle: Four 1" needles slung beneath card.
Pivot: Consists of cup on stand on which card pivot spike rests.
Sights: Adjustable prism with level.
