Bengal Pilot Service. Owner S M Knowles. Waist length jacket with lapels. Three gilt buttons each side with crown and star of India. Silk hand sewn lining. Two pockets near waist at front. Two stripes of gold/blue/gold lace on sleeves. Gold wire edged shoulders straps each embroidered with two silver stars.
