P&O Line Medical Officer's mess jacket. Double breasted jacket. Four P&O pattern buttons each side. Merchant Navy pattern gold lace stripes (three) on red cloth.
This mess jacket is from the uniform of William George Robins Hore who was a ships surgeon on P&O Line from 1922-23.
