Button, Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1901
Thirty-five buttons. Smooth edge. Within a raised circular border on a lined background is a post-1901 crown above a fouled anchor with the rope appearing from under the right-hand side of the stock to go over the shank to the left and then under the shank to the right and finishes under the right arm. All of the buttons are coloured black apart from one which is coloured white. Petty officer.
