Button, African Royal Mail

Button worn on the uniform of African Royal Mail. Gilt brass domed button with rope twist outer border and raised inner border. Raised words AFRICAN ROYAL MAIL above swallowtail flag with cross. There is a crown in the centre of the cross. All on lined ground.
On the reverse of the button the maker is inscribed 'BAKER & CO LD LONDON'.
