Button, Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1812-1825
Button. Flat button with twisted rope edge. Within an oval which has a lined background and a twisted rope which goes around the inside edge of the oval, is a pre-1901 crown above two crossed anchors with ropes trailing behind them from the shackle to the fluke. Purser.
