Two buttons. Smooth edge. On a smooth background is a pre-1901 crown. On a raised circular border which the crown sits upon is ROYAL DOCKYARD BATTN. In the centre is an anchor. On the left-hand side of the shank is a V, on the right-hand side of the shank is a N.
