Button, Royal Marines uniform: pattern post-1802
Button. Smooth edge. On a smooth background is a fouled anchor with a slightly slanting stock to the left. The rope is tied to the ring at the top, it goes under the left-hand stock, then under the shank to the right, back under the shank to the left and then under the left fluke, under the crown and up to and just under the right fluke.
