Button, Royal Marine Artillery uniform: pattern 1825

Button. Domed. Smooth edge. Within a wreath on a lined background is a raised circular belt with buckle with ROYAL MARINE ARTILLERY on it. In the centre is a pre-1901 crown with a fouled anchor with the rope tied to the ring at the top, goes under the left-hand stock, goes under the shank to the right, under the shank to the left and then under the left arm. A grenade is on either side of the shank.
